Haggerty Dominates Naito, Holzken KOs Compton At ONE: BIG BANG II
True to its name, ONE: BIG BANG II delivered explosive martial arts action on Friday evening at the Singapore Indoor Stadium.
The previously recorded ONE Championship event saw a kickboxing legend score a devastating finish and a former World Champion return to old form.
In the main event, former ONE Flyweight Muay Thai World Champion Jonathan “The General” Haggerty kept a relentless pace against Taiki “Silent Sniper” Naito to secure the unanimous decision win.

Along the way, Haggerty knocked Naito down twice with right hands that came at the Japanese athlete like fastballs.
Naito fared well in the third round as he reversed the pressure and flung kicks at “The General.” However, the two knockdowns were enough to secure the victory for Haggerty, who would love nothing more than a trilogy fight with old rival and reigning ONE Flyweight Muay Thai World Champion Rodtang “The Iron Man” Jitmuangnon.
In the co-headliner, #1-ranked lightweight kickboxing contender Nieky “The Natural” Holzken lived up to his legendary status by earning a first-round knockout of #5-ranked Elliot “The Dragon” Compton.
Up until the knockout, Compton had attacked the Dutchman well from the outside with jabs and low kicks. But once Holzken came to life, it only took one combination for him to slay “The Dragon.”
The finish came when Holzken forced Compton to block a jab, which left his liver exposed for the taking – and “The Natural” took it.
In fact, he stole it, delivering a thunderous left body shot that sent waves of pain rippling through Compton as he fell to the canvas.
The victory cemented Holzken as the #1-ranked contender and kept his name near the World Title conversation.
