Brian Bowen seems to have found his college basketball home.

According to ESPN, the former Louisville recruit has enrolled at South Carolina and is seeking reinstatement from the NCAA.

Bowen was implicated in the FBI's investigation into college basketball which revealed a pay-for-play scandal where schools were funneling money through shoe companies to players to convince them to commit to play basketball for their universities.

The FBI alleges Adidas, in cooperation with Louisville coaches, agreed to pay Bowen's family $100,000 for his commitment. The former McDonald’s All-American denied any involvement in the incident and he was eventually cleared by the FBI.

In the wake of the investigation into Louisville, head coach Rick Pitino, athletics director Tom Jurich and multiple assistant coaches across the nation were fired for their involvement in the scandal.

Louisville eventually banned Bowen from playing for the Cardinals and allowed him to transfer elsewhere.
