Dramatic Ashton try keeps Warrington's winning run alive as Hull FC hold off Wakefield
Warrington Wolves kept up their winning Super League run in dramatic fashion as they snatched victory over Castleford Tigers on Thursday.
Trailing 10-6 with two minutes to go, Matty Ashton - who had surgery on a serious hamstring injury only six months ago - gathered Ben Currie's pass and dived under the posts to level the scores.
Stefan Ratchford's conversion secured a 12-10 win for the Wire, their seventh victory in a row, as Danny Richardson's missed kick proved key for the disappointed Cas.

Castleford took the lead in the contest through a try from Gareth O'Brien, but Anthony Gelling ensured the scores were level at 6-6 at the break.
Derrell Olpherts scored the Tigers' second try, which looked to be enough for the home side before Ashton's late intervention.
In the earlier match, Hull FC survived a fightback from Wakefield Trinity to claim a 26-23 win.
Two tries each for Adam Swift and Jordan Lane, as well as a score from Andre Savelio, were enough for Hull to take the win despite Connor Wynne's late sin-binning and Kelepi Tanginoa's double.
