De Minaur dominates Bellucci reach second straight Rotterdam final

Alex de Minaur soared through to his second successive Rotterdam Open final after a dominant straight-sets victory over Mattia Bellucci.
The third seed took just 67 minutes to wrap up a 6-1 6-2 win over the Italian and advance to the championship match, where either Carlos Alcaraz or Hubert Hurkacz awaits.
Bellucci was appearing in his first ATP semi-final, having beaten the likes of Daniil Medvedev and Stefanos Tsitsipas earlier in the week.

However, the 23-year-old was broken in the second and sixth games as De Minaur ran away with the opening set.
Two breaks also did the trick in the second set for the world number eight, who held his own serve to wrap up a convincing victory.
"He's played with so much confidence this whole week, and played some incredible tennis," De Minaur said. "I knew going in it was going to be a battle, and he was going to play loose; the way he has all week long.
"I just had to do my best to stay with him early, and see if I could get my chances early. Then, it became a little bit more of an uphill battle for him, but he has a very, very bright future ahead, as well as so many more Italians."

Data Debrief: Back-to-back finals for De Minaur
De Minaur, who is yet to drop a set this week, recorded his tour-leading 11th match win of 2025, while improving his record in Rotterdam to 13-4.
The Australian converted all four break-point opportunities he created during the contest, as he reached his 18th ATP tour-level final.
De Minaur now looks to go the extra step and lift the trophy, having been runner-up to Jannik Sinner last year.
