David Fizdale firing ignites Stephen Jackson-Chandler Parsons feud
The NBA world reacted strongly to the firing of Grizzlies head coach David Fizdale on Monday, but two stars in particular really got into it on social media.
Former NBA player Stephen Jackson started off what turned into a feud on Instagram by posting a picture stating, "U give 100 million to a guy that don't even care about the game or winning but u expect a coach to make a miracle happen."
Jackson was taking a jab at Memphis forward Chandler Parsons. In the caption of the photo, Jackson added, "Can't go to war with no soldiers. How u expect him to win with no dogs on his team and PG hurt. Fixed fight if u tell me. Fire Chandler Parsons."

Apparently Jackson had some pretty strong thoughts as he did not stop there. He continued his social media rant by posting a video with one more direct shot towards Parsons.
"You put Fitz in a bad spot but you know Fitz is going to handle it like a G. We know what time it is. We see what's going on. You got players making 100 million averaging nine points," Jackson said ending with a laugh.
Parsons caught word of what Jackson was saying on Instagram and eventually defended himself.
"It's wild to me that someone who has been in my shoes, knows how hard it is to get here, and knows how bad injuries suck, to hate so hard. You mad I can provide for my family? I don't love the game cuz I had 3 knee surgeries? You make no sense and sound bitter. NBA is a brotherhood. Stop hatin," Parsons wrote.
Jackson of course had the final word following up with another video rant, but this time a little bit more general on players in the NBA.
"I don't beef with basketball players," Jackson said. "Guys don't love the game enough to fight to win. During games I was willing to fight to win. That's how much I cared about winning."
