In light of the COVID-19 outbreak, Astro is offering more content choices for its Sports Pack customers with complimentary viewing of all Astro channels* from now to 30 April 2020.
The coronavirus pandemic has caused major disruption to sports in Malaysia and across the globe, with only a few events still taking place.
Due to it, all of the major European football leagues have been postponed, with the Premier League, Serie A, Ligue 1, LaLiga and Bundesliga all suspended at least until April.
"The COVID-19 pandemic is unprecedented where many events including global sporting events have been postponed by their organisers.
"As the world goes through these challenging times to contain the COVID-19 pandemic, Astro is committed to keep serving sports fans in Malaysia.
"We are working closely with our sports content partners to ensure we continue to deliver to our customers," said Lee Choong Khay, Head of Sports at Astro.
Lee also reassured that Sports Pack subscribers will get to enjoy the UEFA European Championship, which has been postponed to next year, for free when it takes place.
"We had earlier announced that our loyal Sports Pack customers will enjoy UEFA Euro 2020 for free.
"We are committed to this when the tournament kicks off on the new dates of 11 June until 11 July 2021," he added.
