Bumrah to make IPL return for Mumbai Indians against Bengaluru
Jasprit Bumrah is available for selection for Mumbai Indians' game against Royal Challengers Bengaluru on Monday, head coach Mahela Jayawardene has confirmed.
Bumrah, the 2024 international cricketer of the year, has been out of action since he missed the final day of the fifth Test against Australia in January because of a back injury.
He has taken 165 wickets across 133 matches in the IPL, with only eight players taking more in the history of the competition.

Five-time champions Mumbai, who face Bengaluru at their home Wankhede Stadium on Monday, announced the news with a video on social media.
"He's training today and should be available," said Jayawardene, whose side have lost three of their four matches this season.
"He arrived last night. He had his sessions with NCA [India's National Cricket Academy] to finalise that. He's been handed over to our physios. He's bowling today, so all good."

Bumrah will be key to Mumbai's hopes of a turnaround after losing three of their four matches this season.
He produced a series of remarkable individual performances during the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, taking 32 wickets at 13.06 across the series.
He took 2-33 in the first innings of the Sydney Test but was unable to bowl in the second as Australia went on to win by six wickets and clinch the series.
"Bumrah's coming back from a pretty decent lay-off, so we need to give him that space," Jayawardene said. "Not expect too much. Knowing Jasprit, he will be up for it."
