Canterbury Bulldogs coach Dean Pay has been hit with a $25,000 fine for his comments about the officials following an NRL defeat to Brisbane Broncos last week.
Pay did not hold back after watching his side suffer a 22-20 loss at Suncorp Stadium last Thursday, venting his fury over what he felt were "ridiculous" and "disgraceful" decisions.

He also raised eyebrows by stating "it's like we're not supposed to win" after Moses Mbye was sin-binned for a professional foul right at the end, resulting in a penalty which won it for the Broncos.
NRL head of football Brian Canavan said Pay's comments "went beyond the acceptable parameters" and he was hit with a hefty fine.
The Bulldogs have five business days to respond to the breach notice and may launch an appeal.
A Bulldogs statement said: "The club is currently reviewing the contents of the breach notice and will consider the appropriate action to take in the next few days."
