Malaysia Swimming Team and Athletes for Olympics 2024
Khiew Hoe Yean – Men’s 400m Freestyle
The 21-year-old will be making his debut in the Olympics this year. A rising star, he won his first gold swimming medal for Malaysia in the 2021 SEA Games 200m Freestyle event. His second gold came in the same event later in the 2023 SEA Games.
He is the current national record holder in the 400m Freestyle event.
Tan Rouxin - Women's 100m Breaststroke
Also making her debut at the young age of 18, the Johorean is going in with full confidence, wanting to break her personal best record of 1:11.02s for the 100m breaststroke in Paris.
