Malaysia Archery Team and Athlete for Olympics 2024

Ariana Nur Dania – Women’s Individual and Women’s Team

This will be Ariana’s debut in the Olympics. The 19-year-old qualified for the Women’s Individual event by winning the Bangkok 2023 Asian Archery Championship’s gold medal in November 2023.

She will also be competing in the Women’s Team event with Syaqiera and Nurul Azreena.

Syaqiera Mashayikh and Nurul Azreena Mohamad Fazil – Women’s Team

This will be Syaqiera’s second Olympic appearance. The Johor-born 24-year-old ranked 43rd in the preliminary round in the recurve event, however was eliminated in her first knockout match in the Tokyo Olympics. She also managed to finish 19th overall in the mixed team event with Khairul Anuar.

Nurul Azreena on the other hand will be making her debut at 20 years old. The trio qualified for the Women’s Team event for the first time ever in Malaysian history by winning a silve medal in the Final Olympic Qualifier held in Turkey earlier this year.
