Alex Morgan's goal in the 31st minute of Tuesday's semifinal against England in the Women's World Cup had a bit more meaning than any other goal she's scored in the tournament.
She became the first player in World Cup history to score a goal on her birthday as she found the back of the net off a header from Lindsey Horan's cross in open play to put USA back into the lead and make the score 2-1.

It marked her sixth goal of the World Cup in France and put her back in the lead for the Golden Boot award, which is awarded to the player who scores the most goals in the tournament.

England's Ellen White had jumped ahead in the Golden Boot race as she scored her team's first goal of the match in the 19th minute to tie the game at one, but it quickly went back to Morgan.
The Americans held a 2-1 lead heading into halftime.
