Wolves have completed the signing of Fluminense forward Jhon Arias for an initial fee of £15m.

Arias has put pen to paper on a four-year deal with Vitor Pereira's side, with an option of a further 12 months at Molineux.

The 27-year-old made over 100 appearances in his native Colombia across spells with Patriotas, America de Cali and Santa Fe before joining Fluminense in 2021.

He played 253 times for the Brazilian side across all competitions, scoring 48 goals and providing 57 assists.

Arias' four-year stint with Fluminense saw him help the club lift their first Copa Libertadores in 2023, alongside new Wolves team-mate Andre.

He also won the Recopa Sudamericana and Campeonato Carioca twice, though it was his performances at the recent Club World Cup that caught the eye.

Arias created more chances (18) than any other player in the competition, while also playing 100 passes that ended in the final third, the sixth-highest total in the tournament.

He helped Fluminense reach the semi-final of the revamped competition, with his displays seeing him join team-mate Thiago Silva in the Team of the Tournament.

Arias can operate across the forward line, but has predominantly featured on the right-hand side of midfield across his professional career.

The Colombia international is Wolves' third signing of the summer window following the arrival of Fernando Lopez, while Jorgen Strand Larsen made his move permanent after a successful loan spell in 2024-25 from Celta Vigo.

Arias is expected to be a direct replacement for Matheus Cunha, who left the club in June to complete a move to Manchester United.
