With no surprise, both Arsenal and Man City have gone on to flying starts since the new Premier League campaign begun, with Arsenal only 2 points away from City having dropped points in a controversial game against Brighton a couple weeks back.
In the Gunners' previous game in the North London Derby, they managed to keep their shape despite missing their key midfield anchors Martin Odegaard, Declan Rice, and new signing Mikel Merino - and even squeezed a victory from Gabriel's towering header from a Bukayo Saka corner. They will still be without Odegaard and Merino, but Declan Rice will be back against the former champions following his one game suspension.
City on the other hand had a shaky start last week, trailing against Brentford only to make a comeback. They've been in brilliant attacking form, especially with Erling Haaland leading the line.
This will be a showdown of Premier League titans, one that can get Arsenal back on top of the table, or it could mean more to City in extending their lead in the leaderboard.
The Etihad has been a fortress for City. Will Arsenal finally break the curse?
