The Premier League meeting between Watford and Chelsea was paused in the first half after a medical emergency in the crowd.

Both sets of players left the pitch after 13 minutes when a fan fell ill, with Amazon Prime reporting an individual had suffered a heart attack.

Members of Chelsea's medical staff went to give assistance after seemingly becoming aware of the incident while Adam Masina was receiving treatment.

Watford and Chelsea tweeted to confirm the break in play was "due to a medical emergency in the crowd".
