Allie Long got her key copy.

The USWNT midfielder and Long Island native on Monday received a new key to New York City after her original was stolen from her Los Angeles hotel room last week.

The first lady of New York City, Chirlane McCray, presented Long with the replacement key during her Monday appearance on CBS Sports' "We Need to Talk."

"Well, we love you. New York City is still celebrating your victory," McCray said after Long thanked her. "It was such an honor to host you and the team last week. And, you know, we're watching you and cheering you on. And, as the mayor said, 'We always have a copy.'"

The @USWNT was gifted a key to New York City as part of the team’s victory parade. However, one player had their key stolen from her hotel room later in the week. Midfielder @Allie_Long got a HUGE surprise on tonight’s We Need to Talk when @NYCFirstLady gave her a spare. pic.twitter.com/iH3SBsVqjN

New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio presented each USWNT player with a key last Wednesday during a ticker-tape parade celebrating the team's 2-0 victory over the Netherlands en route to their fourth World Cup.

But Long claimed her room was burglarized later Wednesday while the team was being honored at the ESPYs. She tweeted that her wedding ring and other valuables were taken in addition to the key as she asked the mayor if he made copies.

“So sorry to hear it, Allie. Hang in there. Don’t worry about the key. Like any good New Yorker, we keep a spare for our neighbors! We got you covered,” de Blasio replied.
