Tyrone Marsh continued his hot streak in front of goal as Boreham Wood sealed a 2-1 victory over Vanarama National League strugglers Oxford City.

Marsh grabbed his side’s second goal shortly after the half-hour mark to make it four in his last three matches, following up Tom Whelan’s fourth-minute strike.

Third bottom City pulled one back when Reece Fleet hit the target before the interval but Luke Garrard’s side held out for the three points.

Matt Robinson came close to adding a third for his side shortly after stepping off the bench but was denied by the crossbar.
