Lucas Moura has hailed Tottenham's attacking approach and becoming the second club from Europe's big-five leagues to reach 100 goals in all competitions this season.

Tottenham's fourth goal scored by Harry Kane in Sunday's 4-1 win over Crystal Palace brought up triple figures for Spurs.

Only Bayern Munich (106) have scored more goals in the 2020-21 season among Europe's elite.

Tottenham have scored 13 goals in their past four games in all competitions, with manager Jose Mourinho unleashing attacking trio Kane, Son Heung-Min and Gareth Bale together.

The quality of Kane and Son's partnership is already well known, having broken Alan Shearer and Chris Sutton's all-time Premier League record for assisting one another's goals this season on 14 occasions, but the recent rise of Bale adds another layer.

The Welshman has netted six goals in his past five games in all competitions, including three in a row at home, having only scored four in his first 16 appearances for Spurs this season.

Kane has been directly involved in 39 goals in 36 games in all competitions this season the most of any player for a Premier League club.

“We have so much quality and if we keep the ball and attack we lessen the risk of teams coming at us and they can win the game for us," Moura said.

3 - Gareth Bale has scored in each of his last three home appearances in all competitions, the first time he has done so since September 2018 for Real Madrid (four in a row), and first time for Spurs since May 2013. Comfort. https://t.co/mN8LC3QstP

“For me, we have unbelievable players, we have creative players and we need to keep the ball to dictate games. The most important thing is we make use of these players in every game.

“I'm so happy, I'm so proud to be part of this team and I feel very comfortable playing with them. I'm happy with the team and happy with the results. We just need to keep going in this way.

“I think the main thing was the mentality because we just needed to have the belief in ourselves.

“We needed to know how good we are because we have terrific players, a very good squad and the quality in the Premier League to win games. When we realise that and we have confidence we are able to dominate games.”
