South Korean star Kim Woo-jin shot a perfect game to knock Khairul Anuar Mohamad out of the men's individual event at the 2020 Olympic Games on Saturday.

The two-time Olympic gold medalist, including one in the team event at the Tokyo Olympics, clinched three perfect 30-point rounds against the Malaysian archer, who recorded 27, 27 and 29.

Kim will next face Chinese Taipei's Tang Chih-chun, whom he beat in the team event earlier, in the quarter-finals.

Khairul Anuar had reached the Round of 16 by eliminating Finland's Antti Vikstrom and China's Wang Dapeng earlier.
