Brentford registered their first away win of the season as they hammered Southampton with a 5-0 victory at St Mary’s.
Kevin Schade gave the Bees an early lead with a confident finish after combining nicely with Mikkel Damsgaard.
Brentford's dominance looked to have counted for a second when Sepp van den Berg headed in, but it was disallowed for a foul in the build-up.
That did not deter Thomas Frank's side, though, and they doubled their advantage soon after with a brilliant finish from Bryan Mbeumo, before he netted a well-taken penalty.
Keane Lewis-Potter and Yoane Wissa then wrapped things up with goals in stoppage time.

Brentford finished the match having created chances worth 4.2 expected goals, while lowly Southampton mustered just 0.3 going the other way.
Ivan Juric remains without a win as Southampton boss with the club bottom of the table, 10 points from safety, while Brentford move up to 10th.
Data Debrief: Toothless Saints suffer Bees' sting
Despite a change of manager, Southampton are continuing to struggle with three straight defeats to begin Juric's tenure and the Saints have now failed to score in 10 of their 20 league matches this season, with no team failing to do so more.
Brentford do certainly not have that issue, and they have now netted 38 times this term. Mbeumo's saw him move onto 13 goals in the Premier League already, with three of those coming in the first two matches of 2025. Only Alexander Isak and Mohamed Salah have scored across more games in the league so far.
Another player shining for Brentford is Damsgaard. The Dane initially struggled to settle in England following his move from Sampdoria in 2022, managing just two assists across his first 55 games, but he now has seven assists in his last 14 matches for the Bees, with only Salah and Bukayo Saka providing more assists in the Premier League in 2024-25.
