Shahrel scores first Nakhon Ratchasima goal

Shahrel Fikri finally opened his account for Nakhon Ratchasima FC in a 3-1 Thai League Cup win over Ranong United on Wednesday.

The 23-year-old Malaysia international, who joined the Thai League 1 club on loan in June, scored with a composed finish in the 73rd minute at the 80th Birthday Stadium.

He had failed to score in his first five appearances for the club.

The win ensured the Thai side progressed to the semi-finals, where they will face Bangkok Glass, Singha Chiangrai United or Buriram United.
