Pep Guardiola insists Manchester City still have improvements to make despite labelling their results over the past two months as "perfect".

City have been on another level compared to their rivals this season, scoring a phenomenal 38 league goals in 11 matches, while also booking their place in the Champions League knockout stage with two games to spare.

The Citizens' attacking contingent of Kevin De Bruyne, Leroy Sane, David Silva, Raheem Sterling, Sergio Aguero and Gabriel Jesus have particularly impressed and helped open up an eight-point gap at the top of the table.

However, Guardiola is keen for City to raise their game even further ahead of a hectic December schedule.

"I still feel there's things we can do better," he told a news conference ahead of Saturday's trip to Leicester City.

"What you have to understand in football is we can do better, we can improve.

"Okay, if you analyse just the results it’s perfect because in two months we won all the games.

"But in terms of playing and knowing what is going to happen in December with the schedule, we have to improve."
