Melaka United and Kuantan capped off the final day of the 2018 Shopee FA Cup second round by outclassing social league teams Southern and Axis-O2 respectively with the same score of 7-0 on Sunday.

At the Hang Jebat Stadium, Melaka were already 5-0 up at half-time thanks to Yahor Zubovich's brace and one each from R. Gopinathan, Fauzi Roslan and Farderin Kadir.

Farderin grabbed his second in the 52nd minute before Nurshamil Abdul Ghani completed the rout in the 75th minute.

Kuantan, meanwhile, were inspired by Zarko Korac's hat-trick to their big win, with Manaf Mamat, Andrezinho, Murilo Almeida and Muhammad Azmi chipping in with the other goals.

The amateur teams' defeats, coupled with FAM League sides MOF and ATM losing on the same day as well, mean the FA Cup third round onward will be contested by Super League and Premier League teams only.

MOF managed to keep Selangor at bay at the Inspens Stadium for the most of the game but finally succumbed to a 3-0 defeat with late goals from Amri Yahyah, Rufino Segovia and Syahmi Safari.

As for the Armed Forces, they crashed out to a 2-1 loss to Pahang at the Darulmakmur Stadium, with Safuwan Baharuddin grabbing the winner in the 74th minute after Zaironi Yusof cancelled out Norshahrul Idlan Talaha's 35th-minute opener.

PDRM joined fellow uniformed outfit ATM at the exit as they lost 3-1 at home to Penang.

The Police only had a late Sim Woon-sub goal to show for after the island side raced to a 3-0 lead by the 34th minute through Ken Ilso Larsen (two) and Kang Seung-jo.

In another all-Premier League affair, MISC-MIFA and UKM neede a penalty shoot-out to be separated after they they drew 1-1 at the end of the 90 minutes and extra time.

MISC-MIFA looked on course for a win after Kpah Shermann scored in the 45th minute, but Atuheire Kipson drew level for the university side deep into injury time.

UKM then secured their passage into the third round with a 4-2 penalty shoot-out victory.

The 16 teams remaining will find out their respective opponents after a draw for the FA Cup third round later this month.
