Milos Kerekz's impending transfer to Liverpool is "basically a done deal", according to the Bournemouth defender's father.

Following Kerkez's impressive season with the Cherries, Liverpool have reportedly agreed a £45m deal to bring the Hungarian international to Anfield this summer.

Kerkez's move to the Premier League champions appeared to edge closer after Bournemouth welcomed left-back Adrien Truffert from Rennes on a five-year deal on Monday.

Liverpool are looking to bolster their options at left-back, having already signed Bayer Leverkusen's Jeremie Frimpong to provide competition on the opposite side.

Kerkez enjoyed a fine campaign for Bournemouth, registering seven goal involvements (two goals, five assists) in 38 Premier League appearances in 2024-25.

Only Rayan Ait-Nouri (11), Antonee Robinson (10), Daniel Munoz, Trent Alexander-Arnold (both nine) and Pedro Porro (eight) registered more among defenders in the top-flight.

"It's only Liverpool for us, and we're not going anywhere else, and we won't talk to other clubs," Kerkez's father, Sebastijan, told the Super Indirektno podcast.

"Everything is done between us [personal terms]. We just need to sort out some details, but it's basically a done deal.

"[Liverpool sporting director] Richard Hughes brought us to Bournemouth. If he said we go to India, then we go to India, everything is agreed, just some little things."

Along with strengthening in the full-back position, Liverpool are also aiming to bolster their attacking options to build on their Premier League title success.

The Reds are close to completing the signing of Leverkusen's Florian Wirtz in a deal that could rise to a reported £116m (€135.9m).

However, Andrew Robertson is reportedly of interest to Atletico Madrid, meaning the Scotland international could join his former club-mate Alexander-Arnold in the Spanish capital, after the latter's switch to Real Madrid.
