Marouane Fellaini's new club, Shandong Luneng, will be one of Johor Darul Ta'zim's (JDT) Group E opponents in the 2019 AFC Champions League.
The Belgium international, who moved to the Chinese side from Manchester United in January, was in attendance as Shandong beat Hanoi FC 4-1 in the Champions League qualifying play-off round on Tuesday.

There's a very familiar face watching from the stands! It's Shandong Luneng's latest signing Marouane @Fellaini, the Belgian who left @ManUtd for #China earlier this month! #ACL2019 #SDLvHAN pic.twitter.com/6OvKShEV1p

Hanoi dominated the first half and took a deserved lead at the Jinan Olympic Sports Center Stadium through Nguyen Van Quyet's half-volley effort in the 39th minute.
The Vietnamese team could've extended their lead on several occasions, but their wasteful and poor finishing allowed Shandong to seal a comeback with goals from former Southampton striker Graziano Pelle, Liu Junshuai, Liu Binbin and Zhou Haibin.
Shandong play host to the Southern Tigers on April 9 before visiting the Larkin Stadium on April 24.
The Malaysian Super League champions' other group opponents are South Korea's Gyeongnam FC and defending champions Kashima Antlers, who overcame A-League side Newcastle Jets 4-1 in the qualifying play-off on the same day.
