James Rodriguez has signed for Club Leon on a free transfer after leaving Rayo Vallecano.
The former Real Madrid and Bayern Munich star only joined Vallecano last year, after enjoying a brilliant Copa America campaign with Colombia.
James led Colombia to the final, which they lost to Argentina, and was one of the players of the tournament.
He created 20 chances, six more than any other player, providing six assists, four clear of anyone else. His 2.06 expected assists also led the tournament, ahead of Lionel Messi's 1.94.

However, James failed to make an impact at Vallecano, making just six LaLiga appearances, with only one of those being a start.
The 33-year-old has now joined Liga MX side Leon. Since he left Madrid in 2020, James has also played for Everton, Al-Rayyan, Olympiacos and Sau Paulo, though has not spent more than a season at any club.
