Irfan targets icing on cake with league title win
Head coach Irfan Bakti Abu Salim now has his eyes on the Malaysian Premier League title after Terengganu secured their promotion to the Malaysian Super League next season.
The Turtles, who were relegated last season, defeated PDRM 3-0 last night to return to the top flight at the first time of asking and will be joined by Kuala Lumpur, who beat Sabah 2-0.
"The Super League is where Terengganu belong and I am proud of the players' performance tonight," said Irfan, who rejoined the club from Felda United this season, after the match.

"Now the target is to become the champions. This season's success will be sweeter if we finish at the top."
As it stands, the Kuala Terengganu team are level on points with Fabio Magrao's side but behind on goal difference by eight goals with one game remaining.
In the final gameweek on October 20, Terengganu will travel to PKNP and Kuala Lumpur will head south to play against Johor Darul Ta'zim II.
Looking at the fixtures, Irfan believes it is not impossible for Terengganu to snatch the title from under Kuala Lumpur's nose.
"All the players will go to Ipoh and we will play without any pressure, while Kuala Lumpur will face JDT II," he added.
"Anything can happen on the final day."
