Sam Kerr and Mia Fishel will both travel with Chelsea's squad for a winter training camp in Portugal to continue their recovery from long-term injuries.

Kerr suffered an anterior cruciate ligament injury in early 2024, with Chelsea manager Sonia Bompastor stating that the Australian was not expected back in first-team action until February or March.

United States international Fishel sustained a similar injury during training with her national side in February last year.

Both Kerr and Fishel will not train with the Blues' first-team squad while in Portugal, but will instead continue on their individual rehabilitation programmes.

Lauren James has been out of action since October with a calf injury but will also travel with the squad and is closer to a return.

Chelsea are six points clear at the top of the Women's Super League and have reached the quarter-finals of the Women's Champions League.
