Hall of Fame kicker Morten Andersen has offered to help Carli Lloyd if she chooses to pursue an NFL career.

Andersen, who was a kicker for the Saints, Falcons, Giants, Chiefs and Vikings, posted a video on Twitter offering his assistance. He said: "If you want to know what it's like to kick in the NFL for 25 years, contact me and I'd love to work with you. Go get it."

Andersen was only the second kicker inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame after scoring 2,544 points in 382 NFL games.

Lloyd, a two-time FIFA Women's World Cup champion and two-time Olympic gold medalist, is still a member of the U.S. women's national team, but she turned heads earlier this month when she drilled a 55-yard field goal while visiting an Eagles practice.

She said earlier this week that she received some inquiries from NFL teams. One unidentified team even offered for Lloyd to be on its roster for a preseason game, her trainer, James Galanis, told Fox Sports. She turned down the offer because it conflicted with her USWNT schedule.

Thank you to the @Eagles for having me out! Thanks to @JustinTuck @jake_elliott22 @MayorRandyBrown for the good time and tips! ? ? #55yd pic.twitter.com/owZ16f46Th

But she hasn't completely ruled out a transition from one form of football to another as she said she's open to the possibility down the road.

“Knowing Carli, I don’t think she would just hop on and do it,” Galanis said. “She would need a couple of weeks training just to get comfortable. But things have escalated and it is real. ... Knowing Carli, this is why it is enticing for her because it is a challenge. That’s what Carli thrives on, it is the next thing she can conquer. That’s why we have had half a dozen conversations about it in less than a week.”

After winning a second straight World Cup title, Lloyd, 37, and the rest of the national team are in the middle of a victory tour that's set to end Oct. 6.
