Fulham handed Palace tie, Man City face Bournemouth in FA Cup quarters

Fulham's reward for their penalty shoot-out victory over Manchester United in the FA Cup is a home tie against Crystal Palace in the quarter-finals of the competition.
After a 1-1 draw at Old Trafford and with the teams failing to be separated in extra-time, spot-kicks decided who would be the penultimate team to advance to the next round.
Bernd Leno proved to be Fulham's hero in the shoot-out, saving penalties from Victor Lindelof and Joshua Zirkzee as the Cottagers reached the quarter-finals for the second time in the last three seasons, as many times as they managed between 2004-05 and 2021-22 (two).

Manchester City, meanwhile, face a tough test if they are to make the semi-finals after being handed a trip to in-form Bournemouth in the next round.
Pep Guardiola's side left it late to edge past giant-killing Plymouth Argyle 3-1, with youngster Nico O'Reilly scoring twice before Kevin De Bruyne sealed the win late on Saturday.
Aston Villa will face Preston North End, the only Championship side remaining in the competition, in what will be their first meeting since a 1-1 draw in the second tier back in December 2018.
Brighton will face either Nottingham Forest or Ipswich Town in the final eight, with Nuno Espirito Santo's side welcoming the Tractor Boys to the City Ground on Monday.
