Edin Dzeko slid in to add another just before half-time, prior to Youssef En-Nesyri heading home brilliantly in the 57th minute.

Fener finished with 13 shots, two fewer than Anderlecht, but accumulated 1.36 expected goals to the visitors' 0.63.

In their first-ever meeting with Union Saint-Gilloise, Ajax came away with a 2-0 win.

Christian Rasmussen slammed in from outside the area just before the hour, with Jorthy Mokio rifling in Ajax's second soon after.

All the goals were scored in the first half as Real Sociedad claimed a 2-1 away win at Midtjylland.

Brais Mendez's penalty put La Real ahead in the 11th minute, and then teed up Takefusa Kubo to make it 2-0 20 minutes later.

Adam Buksa pulled Midtjylland back into contention, but the Danish team could not find an equaliser and will head to Spain for the second leg one goal behind.

Elsewhere, Ferencvaros beat Viktoria Plzen 1-0 thanks to a 23rd-minute goal from Mohamed Abu Fani.
