N.Thanabalan-less Felcra secured a 1-1 draw against Terengganu City in the first leg of the 2017 FAM League play-off quarter-finals on Tuesday, while other results were more clear cut.

Playing without the 2017 SEA Games star, who was on a one-match suspension, the Kuala Lumpur side conceded first when former Malaysia international Zairo Anuar Zalani opened the scoring in the 14th minute with a free-kick at the Sultan Ismail Nasiruddin Shah Stadium.

However, they drew level less than 10 minutes later when Alif Samsudin guided a Farhan Mustafa corner past goalkeeper Syamsuri Mustafa.

Felcra striker Firdaus Azizul could've given his side the lead in the 66th and 74th minute, but Syamsuri denied him on both occasions and ensured the game finished 1-1.

Elsewhere, Sime Darby and UKM showed why they were the 2017 FAM League group winners by beating MOF and Kuching respectively away from home, keeping a clean sheet at the same time.

Sime Darby had goal-scorer Zul Fahmi Awang to thank for their 1-0 win at the INSPENS Stadium, while Hasrul Nurkholis Hasim grabbed a brace in the university side's 2-0 victory.

The only away side to lose on Tuesday were PJ Rangers, who were defeated 2-1 by Shahzan Muda at the Temerloh Municipal Council Stadium.

Tony Fernandes' team initially took the lead in the sixth minute through Abdul Azim Rahim, but Rifaie Awang Long and Helmi Abdullah struck for the Dolphins in the 10th and 57th minute to make it a difficult return leg for them.

The second leg of the play-off quarter-finals will be played on September 27.
