Sime Darby cruised to a 5-1 aggregate win over MOF to secure a place in the 2017 FAM League promotion play-off semi-finals, with UKM, Shahzan Muda and Felcra joining them.

Leading 1-0 from the first leg in the quarter-finals, the former Malaysian Super League side took a 2-0 aggregate lead just before the half-time in Bukit Jelutong as Segar Arumugam scored in the 42nd minute.

After the break, three goals in 16 minutes thanks to Zul Fahmi Awang (two) and Nazrul Kamaruzaman put the visitors, who netted a late consolation through Razlee Puteh, to the sword and ensured the Giant Killers' progression.

Sime Darby are the only Group B team reaching the last four as Petaling Jaya Rangers, Terengganu City and Kuching crashed out in Klang Valley.

At the MBPJ Stadium, Rangers struggled to break down a resolute Shahzan Muda side, who had a 2-1 lead from the first leg.

Mat Zan Mat Aris' team almost had a breakthrough when they were awarded a penalty in the 80th minute, but Azim Rahim's tame effort was easily parried away.

With time running out, Rifaie Awang Long struck for Shahzan Muda in the 85th minute to seal the tie 3-1 on aggregate.

At the UM Arena Stadium, Firdaus Azizul found the back of the net to help Felcra beat Terengganu 1-0 (2-1 on aggregate), while Kuching were unable to overturn their 2-0 first leg loss to UKM after only managing a 1-0 win at the UKM Bangi Stadium.

The semi-finals will take place on October 2 and 8, with Felcra facing Sime Darby and UKM taking on Shahzan Muda.

The two teams to reach the final will secure promotion to next season's Malaysian Premier League.
