Nuri Sahin labelled Borussia Dortmund’s performance against Eintracht Frankfurt as "shameful" after they fell to a third consecutive defeat.
Eintracht won 2-0 in the Bundesliga on Friday thanks to goals from Hugo Ekitike and Oscar Hojlund, piling more pressure on the Dortmund head coach.
It leaves Dortmund 10th in the table after 18 games, with still just one away win to their name in the top-flight this campaign.
While they dominated possession against Eintracht, they struggled in front of goal, only getting three of their 12 shots on target, though Serhou Guirassy did hit the woodwork in the first half.
Sahin was left dejected after yet another away defeat.
"I don't have any words right now, honestly, because it's shameful to play a game like this, or not to play a game like this and at the moment, finding the right words is really tough," he said.
"I know in my role, I have to be in front of cameras and speak, but on the other side, I'm also a human and the coach. I'm the most responsible person at this club for my team. It's completely my responsibility."

Dortmund are just three points behind sixth place in the race for European football next season and sit five below fourth-place RB Leipzig.
Sahin’s position as head coach has come under increasing pressure in recent months, but managing director Lars Ricken has once again expressed his trust in the 36-year-old.
"Nuri has had our backing so far, and he will continue to have it," he told reporters. "It is his and our responsibility to get the best out of Borussia Dortmund.
"Nuri will sit on the bench in Bologna with the clear expectation that we need victories and successes now."
Dortmund travel to Bologna in the Champions League on Tuesday, with the club just one point below the automatic qualification spots.
