Colts taking Andrew Luck's return to practice slowly
One of the biggest questions for the Colts has been the return of quarterback Andrew Luck after his shoulder surgery in January. Colts coach Chuck Pagano told reporters that Luck will return to the practice field Wednesday, do rehab Thursday and practice Friday.
This will be the first time since December that Luck has been cleared to practice, and the Colts plan to take his return slowly. Pagano said there will be limits on the number and the depth of his throws, which will be evaluated each day, according to IndyStar.com.
“Everybody has to understand he's not going to come back and take all the first-team reps and play 50, 60, 70 snaps in practice a day,'' Pagano said via SB Nation. “We have to integrate him back into practice. Like anybody else, do some individual, throw some routes versus air, stay with his throwing progression and bring him along. Again, it'd be great just to have him out there with his teammates, red jersey on, working again.”

There isn't a timetable yet for when Luck will play in a game. In his absence, Scott Tolzien first started for the Colts (1-3) but was replaced by Jacoby Brissett.
