Bibi Ramjani wins Kelantan presidential election

Bibi Ramjani Ilias Khan became the new president of Kelantan Football Association (KAFA) after beating former vice-president Nasir Hamzah in the second round of voting during the association's 63rd Congress on Sunday.

The election went into the second round after the Desa Murni Batik manager failed to obtain a two-thirds majority in the first round.

She went on to garner 32 votes, twice as many as Nasir received, to helm the Red Warriors for the 2017-2021 term.

On the same day, Afandi Hamzah defeated Rosmadi Ismail 29 votes to 22 to secure the deputy president position, while there are new vice presidents in Aizuddin Ghazali, Nik Pakheruddin Nik Abdul Kadir and Nik Izani Nik Ibrahim.
