Astro Arena to show Thai League 1 matches beginning October
As part of the launch of new channel Astro Arena 2, Astro has secured the broadcasting rights for the 2021/22 Thai League 1 season.
Focusing on Chonburi FC and Police Tero FC, the respective clubs of Malaysian players Junior Eldstal and Dominic Tan, the matches will be shown live starting 1 October 2021.
Selected Thai FA Cup and League Cup matches involving both clubs will be broadcast too.

Upon hearing the news, Eldstal expressed his excitement: "I'm grateful to be playing for Chonburi FC, a big club in the Thai League. I hope to do my best on the pitch whenever I’m given the opportunity, more so since Malaysians can now watch me play."

Tan was equally enthusiastic about the announcement, saying: "This is my third season with Police Tero FC in a very competitive league. This news has boosted my spirit to prove my ability in front of Malaysian fans."
Astro Arena 2 (CH802) is an upcoming channel available on the Family Pack for all Astro customers to enjoy.
It features edgy and refreshing local sports coverage and live studio presentations for local and international sporting events in new formats.
