AFF Suzuki Cup: Two Malaysia players test positive for COVID-19
The Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) confirmed two of the national team players contracted COVID-19 ahead of their 2020 AFF Suzuki Cup opener.
Malaysia head coach Tan Cheng Hoe would be without goalkeeper Khairulazhan Khalid and midfielder Faisal Halim after they tested positive in their PCR tests upon arriving in Singapore.
The rest of the squad returned negative results.

Khairulazhan and Faisal, who were asymptomatic at the moment, had already been ordered to self-isolate for 10 days and would at least miss Malaysia's Group B matches against Cambodia on Monday and Laos on Thursday.
Malaysia are also without Dion Cools, who has ongoing club commitments with FC Midtjylland in Denmark, meaning Tan would only have 21 players to call upon for their opening match.
Separately, a Myanmar player also reportedly tested positive.
