The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) have postponed Malaysia's match against North Korea in Pyongyang for the third time.
The decision came after they were informed by the Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) regarding Malaysians being banned from travelling to North Korea.
"In light of this information, the AFC have postponed the AFC Asian Cup UAE 2019 Final Qualifying Round Group B match between DPR Korea and Malaysia, which was scheduled to be played in Pyongyang on October 5, 2017," read a statement released on Thursday.
"The AFC will now refer the matter to the appropriate committees to decide on the future status of this match."
The qualifying match, which was originally scheduled to take place on March 28, had already been postponed twice due to tensions between both countries at one point.
