ACLE: JDT to Face Either Al-Ahli or Al-Duhail in Quarter-Finals

JDT draw

National representative, Johor Darul Ta'zim (JDT), has been drawn to face either Al-Ahli or Al-Duhail for the quarter-final round of the AFC Champions League Elite (ACLE) in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, middle of next month.

Ongoing conflicts in West Asia meant that the Round of 16 matches for that zone had yet to be played prior to the draw ceremony held in the capital earlier today.

The match will be held centrally in Jeddah on April 13 or 14. Consequently, JDT will await the winner between Saudi Arabian giants, Al-Ahli, and Qatar’s representative, Al-Duhail, to determine who moves on to the semi-finals a few days later.

Meanwhile, another Southeast Asian representative, Buriram United, was drawn to face either Shabab Al Ahli or Tractor.

As for the draw involving the two Japanese clubs, Vissel Kobe is set to meet Al Hilal or Al Sadd, while Machida Zelvia awaits the winner of the match between Al Wahda and Al-Ittihad.
